Palazzo Lana Extrême 2010 – Franciacorta Riserva
UVE:
- 100% Pinot Noir, sourced from two estate vineyards, trained at high planting density, in Borgonato: Quindicipiò, on the hillside, and Brolo, overlooking Palazzo Lana Berlucchi.
TIME OF COLLECTION:
- Second decade of August 2010.
RETURNS:
- 8,100 kg of grapes per hectare, with a must yield of 28 percent equivalent to 3024 bottles per hectare.
VINIFICATION:
- The “heart” of the flower must, obtained by soft and progressive pressing, carries out alcoholic fermentation in steel vats; at the end, some batches are transferred to oak barrels, where they are aged for 6 months in contact with yeasts.
MATURATION:
- Preparation of the cuvée in the spring following the harvest, with 100% wines of the vintage chosen from the best selections. Second fermentation in the bottle and subsequent aging in contact with yeasts for at least 10 years, followed by a minimum of 6 months after disgorgement.
DOSAGE:
- Extra Brut.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:
- VISUAL APPEARANCE: Copious mousse, persistent crown, very fine perlage.
- COLOR: Intense straw yellow, with rose gold highlights.
- BOUQUET: Broad olfactory sensations, with hints of yellow-fleshed fruits and candied orange.
- TASTE: The palate is distinguished by great freshness, cleanliness of flavor and structure, all harmonized by minerality and acidity, which result in great persistence and important longevity.
ACCOUNTS:
- It is a full-bodied Reserve that pairs nicely with dishes rich in structure and flavor. It can accompany important first courses, fish stews and meat main courses.
SERVING TEMPERATURE:
- 10-12 °C.

- Alcohol 12.50% vol, sugars 3.5 g/l, total acidity 7.80 g/l – pH 3.12.
