Passito Murana 2010 – Passito di Pantelleria
On the rocky terraces of
Pantelleria
, the vines of
Zibibbo
. Because of the nature of the soil and climate of this island the center of the Mediterranean, the vines, which are raised to low sapling, produce few clusters of grapes, which are harvested at the end of August, put to dry in the sun for 30 days. Luva is then pressed and the must, rich in sugars and aromas, is fermented to yield a wine that offers pleasant sensations. The fruit of so many sensations is thanks to the special nature of Pantelleria and the connection to our ancient heroic traditions.
