- Aging: 20 months in fine-grained, lightly toasted French oak tonneaux. Natural malolactic fermentation.

Description: Pietradolce Vigna Barbagalli Etna Rosso 2016 is a wine of great character and depth, produced from ancient Nerello Mascalese vines from a pre-phylloxera vineyard. The production area, located on Etna’s North Slope, gives the wine a unique complexity, enriched by the sandy loam terroir and the presence of skeleton.
The winemaking process, which includes a long maceration in contact with the skins and a 20-month aging in French oak tonneaux, helps create a wine of extraordinary aromatic richness and structure.
With its 15% vol. alcohol content, Pietradolce Vigna Barbagalli Etna Rosso 2016 is an excellent expression of the Etnean territory, capable of delivering unique emotions with every sip.
