PRECIOUS WATER: The water used comes from a pure and exclusive spring of volcanic origin rich in minerals from nearby Mount Pelée. Rare and key factor that makes the production of J.M. Rhums unique and quality.
DOUBLE COLUMN COPPER ALAMIC: The distillation yields a rum with an alcohol content that is not excessive, around 72 percent, to preserve the floral and natural aromas rich in fruity flavors imparted by the raw material used.
AGEING: During the 15 years of aging required to produce this nectar, nearly 70 percent of the barrel volume evaporated. The remaining rum is gently bottled ” brut de fût ” in order to preserve the aromatic balance of each vintage.
