Rhum JM VSOP Vieux Agricole Cl 70
Family-owned business since 1914: 300 hectares owned, of which 150 hectares are used to grow sugarcane, bananas and pineapples. Today, the heirs of the Crassous de Médeuil family passionately carry on the ancient and traditional methods of producing Rhum J.M.
SELECTED RAW MATERIAL: Sugar cane after being cut is, within an hour, pressed to extract the fresh, pure juice that will be used for fermentation.
EXCEPTIONAL MICROCLIMATE: The 4 sugarcane varieties used are grown in the foothills of Mt. Pelée. Habitation Bellevue enjoys a tropical and excellent climate with particularly rich and fertile volcanic soil. The harvest period is between March and June.
PRECIOUS WATER: The pure water used comes from a proprietary spring of volcanic origin rich in minerals from nearby Mount Pelée. Particularity that makes the production of J.M. Rhums unique and of high quality.
DOUBLE COLUMN COPPER ALAMIC: The distillation yields a rum with an alcohol content that is not excessive, around 72 percent, to preserve the floral and natural aromas rich in fruity flavors imparted by the raw material used.
Tasting notes:
Rhum j.m is a bright gold rhum with luminous citrine highlights. The intense, suave bouquet ranges between floral and spicy scents. On the palate, the silkiness is enriched with acidulous notes of black pepper, nutmeg and chili pepper.
