Plantation rums are a genuine invitation to travel. From Jamaica to Barbados via Panama, Trinidad, Guyana all the way to Fiji Islands. Each rum possesses characteristic local flavors that faithfully reflect the identity of each area. Each rum-distilling country has its own terroir with its own traditions, production techniques, and identity.
Plantation Single Casks are limited releases of “haute couture” rums that, in addition to the classic double tropical aging in ex-bourbon barrels and then in France, at Chateau de Bonbonnet, in ex-Cognac Ferrand barrels, enjoy additional aging in select barrels that have contained beers, wines and other spirits. A very low quantity of rum is bottled each year, each bottle is unique, numbered and valuable.
