Rhum JM XO Tres Vieux Rhum Agricole
FAMILY MANAGED FARM SINCE 1914: There are 300 hectares of property and sugarcane, bananas and pineapples are grown in 150. Today, the heirs of the Crassous de Médeuil family passionately carry on the ancient and traditional methods of producing Rhum J.M.
SELECTED RAW MATERIAL: Sugar cane after being cut is, within an hour, crushed to extract the fresh, pure juice that will be used for fermentation.
EXCEPTIONAL MICROCLIMATE: The 4 sugarcane varieties used are grown in the foothills of Mt. Pelée. Habitation Bellevue enjoys a tropical and excellent climate with particularly rich and fertile volcanic soil. The harvest period is between March and June.
PRECIOUS WATER: The water used comes from a pure and exclusive spring of volcanic origin rich in minerals from nearby Mount Pelée. Rare and key factor that makes the production of J.M. Rhums unique and quality.
DOUBLE COLUMN COPPER ALAMIC: The distillation yields a rum with an alcohol content that is not excessive, around 72 percent, to preserve the floral and natural aromas rich in fruity flavors imparted by the raw material used.
Composed of distillates of different ages (it contains a significant percentage of Rhum of 15) it can be considered the first step toward the great distillates of J.M.
A bright gold rum with luminous citrine highlights. The intense, suave bouquet ranges with floral and spicy hints. On the palate, the silkiness is enriched with acidulous notes of black pepper, nutmeg, and chili pepper
