Rum Sao Can 20 Reserva Cl 70
Known and widespread in Cuba since the mid-19th century, the Sao Can brand has its roots in the sugar cane plantations of Cárdenas (western Cuba), historically cultivated by the indigenous Aruaco Taino population.
The name derives from the crasis between SAOco and CANchánchara, well-known Cuban cocktails from the late 1700s (even before the birth of the Mojito!).
SAOCO – simple drink in its composition, but profound in flavor and tradition. It is made with coconut water, rum and ice and preferably served in a coconut.
CANCHÁNCHARA – Drink prepared by the “mambises” (guerrilla soldiers for Cuban independence), mixing aguardiente with honey and lemon juice. It was used to withstand the cold and allowed them to warm up and protect themselves from diseases and various respiratory diseases.
Sao Can 20 Reserva Original is an excellence not to be missed, a balanced blend of expertly aged ron. With its notes of tobacco and its spicy scent it will take you to an authentic Cuba, to be enjoyed sip after sip, without haste.
