The fruit of the talents of Maestra Mezcladora, Lorena Vasquez, Rum Zacapa Royal is a distillate of excellence aged in exceptional barrels made of French oak sourced exclusively from four forests formerly belonging to French royalty known as Le Bois du RoyTM.

Zacapa Royal was meticulously distilled by Lorena Vasquez, who meticulously selected the rarest and ripest rums kept in the vast cellars of the Guatemalan highlands and developed, applying the Solera System, a slow aging process using different types of barrels to give the liquid a unique complexity and intensity of notes.

Aged for up to 30 years first in oak barrels, then in small barrels made from the fine oak from “Le Bois du Roy,” it is produced in a limited edition. Master blender Lorena Vasquez has selected the best rums and chosen the particular barrels that make this rum the best of the way for many connoisseurs.
