On the Baglio Sorìa estate, an extraordinary winemaking gem from Firriato is born. A quintessential Sicilian red that has won over winelovers all over the world with its pleasing complexity and perfect balance between freshness and alcohol content. Rich in fruit and elegance, it is a Sicilian pioneer in combining international and native grapes. The farming terroir, proximity to the coast, and soils composed mainly of clay and red marl, combine to create unique pedoclimatic conditions in the agricultural landscape of western Sicily. Santagostino Baglio Sorìa Rosso is a child of this uniqueness and has remained true to itself for more than 30 vintages. It reveals itself, vintage after vintage, an elective witness of Firriato’s winemaking style with Its impenetrable ruby red color. In the glass it expresses itself with elegant nuances and velvety tannins.
