Squadron 303 Vodka cl 70
1939. Hundreds of Polish pilots decide to join the British Royal Air Force to continue fighting alongside the Allies. This wonderful vodka draws inspiration from the true story of the Polish pilots of Squadron 303, the most formidable squadron of the British Royal Air Force whose bravery and victories were celebrated with the “Shot of Glory,” shots of vodka distilled by the aviators themselves inside the RAF base, thus taking a piece of Poland with them. Before each battle the spitfire was equipped with an additional tank full of vodka in order to cool it at altitude during the fighting. At the end of the mission, the cooled distillate could be bottled in the flasks of the pilots who celebrated their return to the ground with the “Shot of Glory.” As the legend goes, the five friends continue the tradition of 303 Squadron by annually embarking 50 liters of their own vodka in an extra tank of a small plane. Once on the ground, the vodka is bottled and sold as a limited edition.Like the original recipe, Squadron 303 vodka is made through a single distillation and without undergoing any filtration.
