In 1997 Marco felt the time had come to produce a wine that was the fruit of the union of two territories, a perfect blend of the two varieties that characterize the winery’s production, Grillo and Zibibibbo.
A wine that aims to express in an innovative way the strength, simplicity and purity of the Marsala sun and the Pantelleria wind.

Sole e Vento goes well with marinated fish, seasoned pasta dishes, vegetable soups, and salt-water, salt-water, and grilled fish.
Serve at 10 to 14 °C.
The New Roots: Sun and Wind
A wine that gives the structure, aromatic and mineral notes of two noble territories for wine production. Two varieties, Grillo and Zibibbo, of great expression and character that blend and complement each other, resulting in a balanced wine with a distinct pleasantness, the only blend among Marco De Bartoli’s wines.
Grillo and Zibibbo
From the roots of Pietranera and Grappoli del Grillo, after rigorous manual selection of the clusters, the grapes are destemmed and gently crushed to initiate cold maceration for about 24 hours; after soft pressing, the must remains decanting at a low temperature for 48 hours. The clear part starts fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks by indigenous yeasts. 7 months in steel tanks.
