This unusual first exclusive version of The Singleton Dufftown has been aged for seventeen years in American oak barrels, to showcase the fresh and spring nature of this single malt.
The Singleton is renowned for the smoothness and balance of its whiskeys, which match the vivacity and vigor of salmon jumping into the fast rivers of the Scottish Highlands. Singleton Dufftown is particularly known for its elegant grassy and fruity aromas and flavors.
The smooth aromas set it apart as a classic Speyside malt, with a sweet first impression of honeycomb and underneath, a floral note of dry herbs with hints of fruit on an earthy base. The consistency is creamy-velvety and enveloping, while the taste is sweet, rich and perfectly balanced. There is a warm and dry finish, with a peppery spiciness.
