Sensory Description: Brilliant ruby red, Rafaèl opens with refined intensity, offering floral and fruity aromas, with a predominance of ripe cherries. On the palate, it is distinguished by its subtlety and velvetiness, with a tasty and persistent freshness that makes the fruit smooth, light and elegantly characterized.

• Pairings: Extremely versatile, it pairs beautifully with pasta dishes dressed with full-bodied sauces, roasts and white meats, as well as with medium-aged cheeses. Also try it with spicy oriental cuisine dishes and flavorful fish soups.
• Provenance: Produced in the Rafaèl Vineyard of the same name, the Tommasi Family’s first and historic vineyard, located in Pergola Veronese in the renowned Valpolicella Classica.
• Grapes: A balanced combination of 60% Corvina, 25% Rondinella and 15% Molinara.
• Vinification and Aging: Vinification involves a 12-day maceration with fermentation at a controlled temperature of 25/30°C. Next, the wine is aged for 15 months in 65 hl Slavonian oak barrels to gain complexity and structure.
• Alcohol: The alcohol content is 12.5 percent by volume, perfect for enhancing the flavors and elegance of this extraordinary wine.
