Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC Ripasso Secondo Marco 2016
The Secondo Marco family winery has been operating for three generations in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, Fumane: the elective area of the entire appellation.
Crossing winds promote temperature changes between day and night while keeping the soil dry.
The soil, particularly generous in mineral salts, is highly variable in stratigraphy even for vineyards in the same locality.
For the porduction of Valpolicella Classico and Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto wines, Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes are vinified in the cellar in steel tanks in a truncated cone shape and in concrete tanks.
Characteristics
The vineyards are located in the center of Valpolicella Classica, between Verona and Lake Garda, at the foot of the Lessini Mountains.
