Veuve Clicquot Rosé Champagne
Madame Clicquot created the first Rosé blend in 1818 by adding a percentage of red wine to the Brut Yellow Label. The result is Veuve Clicquot Rosé, an expression of pleasant, fruity flavor typical of theVeuve Clicquot style.
THE ASSEMBLY.
The blend includes a particularly high percentage (25 to 35 percent, sometimes up to 40 percent) of reserve wines from numerous vintages (5 to 6 on average), guaranteeing the consistency of the Maison’s style. The reserve wines, some with 9 years of aging, are stored individually, respecting the origin of the crus and the vintages of production. The blend is completed thanks to a 12 percent of red wines from a variety of black grape crus, specially cultivated and selected to give the rosé a perfect balance.TASTING NOTES
