Produced in a combination of seasoned oak ex-European sherry casks, seasoned oak ex-American sherry casks, and oak ex-American bourbon casks, Triple Cask Matured 18 Years Old is a lively testament to the union of three spirits. Eighteen years of maturation give this expression, with its natural, delicate and complex character throughout the range, exceptional intensity of aromas, with the richness of orange, velvety cocoa and spicy woody aromas and a natural light amber color.

Triple Cask Matured 18 Years Old, formerly known as Fine Oak 18 Years Old offers the same remarkably natural and delicate yet complex character with a new name, a new bottle and assertive packaging. Reflecting the quality of the whiskies and revealing the skills and craftsmanship of the Macallan Masters, this new incarnation of the main range has been available worldwide since the end of April.

After bottling, the distillate remains undisturbed in the same barrels for the number of years necessary to make it worthy of the Macallan tradition. It is these oak barrels that make the main contribution to the quality, natural colors and unique aromas and flavors that are at the heart of The Macallan’s single malts.
