For over a century, the excellence of Valpolicella has been told by Tommasi wines: Amarone, Ripasso and Valpolicella.

The story of Tommasi was born in 1902 from the pioneering spirit of a visionary farmer that has thrilled four generations.

While continuing in the cultivation of the family’s land in Valpolicella, Giacomo already saw beyond wine, no longer as a simple drink, but as a superior product intended for social occasions and celebrations.

Two world wars only postponed his dream and there where his children would continue to work,

Sergio, Franco, Ezio and Dario thus began the modern expansion of the family business, acquiring and carefully managing vineyards in Valpolicella Classica and the Verona appellations of Lugana, Bardolino, Custoza and Soave during the postwar economic boom.
