History and Production:<\/h3>\n

In 2015, after years of experience with the production of Rovittello Etna Rosso, Benanti Viticoltori decided to focus on a small plot of 100-year-old pre-phylloxera vines. With an extended winemaking, maturation and aging process of up to 60 months, this Riserva is produced in extremely limited quantities, representing a pinnacle of excellence.<\/p>\n

  • Soil:<\/strong> Sandy, volcanic, mineral-rich, sub-acid-reacting soil<\/strong> <\/li>\n
  • Viticulture:<\/strong> 100-year-old vines, pre-phylloxera, free standing, bush system<\/li>\n
  • Planting Density:<\/strong> 9,000 to 10,000 vines per hectare<\/li>\n
  • Yield:<\/strong> about 5,500 kg\/ha<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
