For the distillery&#8217;s 200th anniversary, <strong>The Macallan<\/strong> looked to Jerez de la Frontera, the land of Sherry wine, to reinterpret tradition and conviviality in a unique Single Malt.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"730\" data-end=\"1154\">The whisky is the result of a careful blend of European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks, carefully selected by the <strong data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"899\">The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team<\/strong>. Their goal: to capture the flavors, traditions, and Christmas atmosphere of Jerez during &#8220;Nochevieja,&#8221; New Year&#8217;s Eve, filled with celebrations, grapes, sweets, and toasts.<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"2074\">\n<li data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1295\">\n<p data-start=\"1158\" data-end=\"1295\"><strong data-start=\"1158\" data-end=\"1169\">Color:<\/strong> burnt orange \u2014 a reminder of the vineyards, the wood, and the warmth of winter nights.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1296\" data-end=\"1554\">\n<p data-start=\"1298\" data-end=\"1554\"><strong data-start=\"1298\" data-end=\"1310\">Nose:<\/strong> sweet and enveloping \u2014 embellished with notes of pastry, dried fruit, raisins, honey, cinnamon, anise, and vibrant citrus. Warm, comforting sensations that evoke familiar scents and memories of celebrations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1555\" data-end=\"1858\">\n<p data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1858\"><strong data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1571\">On the palate:<\/strong> Soft and inviting: sweetness of honey-glazed almonds, vanilla, ripe white fruit, and a delicate touch of spice emerge. The Mediterranean and oak notes create a harmonious balance, inviting reflection and conviviality.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1859\" data-end=\"2074\">\n<p data-start=\"1861\" data-end=\"2074\"><strong data-start=\"1861\" data-end=\"1872\">Finish:<\/strong> Pleasant and warm, with hints of dried fruit, caramel, a subtle hint of spice, and oak\u2014a conclusion reminiscent of the sweet warmth of a festive night.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2076\" data-end=\"2416\">The packaging is an integral part of the experience: created in collaboration with the Spanish artist born in Jerez, Mar\u00eda Melero. The box celebrates the vineyard landscapes, local traditions, and the atmosphere of end-of-year celebrations, with iconic references such as &#8220;azulejos&#8221; and golden grape clusters.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2418\" data-end=\"2652\">This limited edition is designed as a celebration of the passing of time, togetherness, and memory\u2014a whisky that combines depth, history, and conviviality in one sip.
