HISTORY: A few miles off the west coast of Scotland lies the island of Jura: remote, sometimes wild, but always enchanting. Home to more than five thousand deer and less than two hundred islanders, only a road, a pub and a distillery exist here. Since 1810, the malting of Jura Island has been the greatest challenge and most incredible reward this land gives to its inhabitants.

A thin, steady peat runs along the new Jura Signature Series, and always, under the supervision of the distillery team and Master Distiller, the best barrels are selected to capture the sweetness of the oak that has always been the distillery’s trademark.

Each single malt in the series is left to mature in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and further enhanced by a variety of specially selected barrels from across Europe.
