Kahlua Lt. 1
Kahlúa is a Mexican coffee-flavored liqueur, which gives it a strong but sweet taste. Kahlua also contains sugar, corn syrup and vanilla. Allied Domecq, which was created in 1994 by the merger of Allied Lyons and Pedro Domecq, began producing Kahlúa from 1996 until the company was partially absorbed in 2005 by Pernod Ricard, the world’s leading liquor distributor since its merger with Sweden’s “Vin & Sprit” in March 2008. The alcohol dosage of Kahula ranges from 20 percent to 35 percent, depending on the market.
