Ableforth’s Bathtub Gin 43.3% cl 70
HISTORY: Even before he got his “Professor” title, Cornelius Ampleforth was already an innovator with a dash of madness. He dreamed of running a large laboratory filled with cups, test tubes, plants and liquor. Thus, during the fall of 2011, his dreams became reality with the release of his “Bathub Gin.”
PRODUCT: Produced in small cuvées (between 60 and 80 bottles per batch), this gin is the result, after distillation, of a cold infusion of juniper berries, orange and lemon peels, coriander, cinnamon and cloves. Endowed with a fruity freshness that is hard to forget, it mounts at the same time particularly rich and spicy. Because of its constant presence, the orange takes center stage.
