Zacapa XO rum is aged in oak barrels that have previously housed robust Bourbons, delicate Sherries and fine Pedro Ximenez wines. The final stage of aging takes place in French Cognac barrels that give the product personality and aromatic finesse. Zacapa XO is made from a combination of the finest rums aged up to 25 years for a perfect harmony of complexity and taste.
Taste Notes:
Greatly structured, deep, a masterpiece of balance and harmony. Intense and smooth, with a wide range of notes of wood, ripe fruit, spices, bitter cocoa and hints of almonds and vanilla. Noble ending, full of emotions to be discovered slowly.
