Baglio del Cristo di Campobello is a Sicilian winery founded in 2000 by the Bonetta family in Campobello di Licata, in the province of Agrigento. Located on chalky hills about 300 meters above sea level and a few kilometers from the sea, the estate includes 35 hectares of owned vineyards and 30 under management. With an annual production of around 300,000 bottles, the winery is focused on quality, guided by the renowned winemaker Riccardo Cotarella. It grows native varieties such as Grillo and Nero d’Avola, as well as international ones like Chardonnay and Syrah. Key wines include “Lalùci” (Grillo), “Lu Patri” (Nero d’Avola), and “Lusirà” (Syrah). The winery’s name comes from an ancient wooden crucifix near the vineyards, a symbol of local devotion and spirituality.
