Vigna di Paola Tasca d’Almerita Salina IGP 2023

Vigna di Paola Tasca d’Almerita Salina IGT is a tribute to the dedication and passion of Paola Lantieri, grower of a Malvasia vineyard on the island of Vulcano. This wine reflects the uniqueness of the volcanic terrain, with soil made of ash, fine sands, pumice, silicates and metals, and a unique microclimate given by Hephaestus, god of fire.

Winegrowing Area: Capofaro Estate – Vulcano – Aeolian Islands
Altitude: 20 to 100 m above sea level
Soil: Ash, fine sands, pumice, silicates and metals

Vinification and Aging: The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16°C for about 15 days. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out. Subsequently, the wine ages in stainless steel tanks for 4 months in the presence of yeasts.
