Historical Data
Tenuta Montenisa is located in the heart of Franciacorta, around the Borgo di Calino, near Lake Iseo. The vineyards surrounding the villa owned by the Maggi family have been the heart of Marchese Antinori Franciacorta production since 1999.
Vinification
The ‘flower’ must underwent the first alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Second fermentation in the bottle in contact with yeast took place over the next 24 months.
Tasting Notes
Pale yellow color, creamy mousse with fine and persistent perlage. The nose is fragrant and immediate, with floral and fruit notes reminiscent of apple and white-fleshed peach. The palate is distinguished by its liveliness and freshness accompanied by good balance and marked elegance. The ideal serving temperature is between 7 and 9°C Pairings and drinking occasion: During hors d’oeuvres, appetizers or fish-based first courses. Its distinct freshness also makes it perfect for a pleasant after-dinner drink.
