Drambuie is a unique and iconic liqueur, whose fascinating history dates back to 1745, when it was created for Prince Charles Edward Stuart during his escape across the Isle of Skye. This distinctive spirit became famous as the star ingredient in the celebrated Rusty Nail cocktail, representing a timeless classic in both the world of spirits and cocktail culture.

Key Features:

Ingredients: Drambuie is a refined blend of Highland and Speyside Scotch Whiskies, enriched with heather honey, select herbs and spices, whose recipe has remained a secret for generations.
History: The recipe was gifted to Captain John MacKinnon of the MacKinnon Clan by the fugitive Prince Stuart. In 1870, the liqueur began large-scale production thanks to tavern keeper John Ross, and has since won enthusiasts around the world.
Guardians of the Tradition: The MacKinnon family guarded the recipe for over three generations, before passing the baton to William Grant & Sons, which continues to respect the tradition of producing Drambuie.
