Podere Santa Bianca is a small farm in Pomarance, in the center of Tuscany between Volterra and the sea, located halfway up the Cecina River valley. The fields, 4 hectares around the farmhouse, are planted with olive trees and medicinal herbs that are then distilled in a home workshop. Harvesting of wild plants grown in the valley is done strictly by hand, with care to which parts to pick and attention to the optimal time of harvest, following the life cycle of the plant.

Long, temperature-controlled distillations take place immediately after the fresh plant is harvested. From this series of attentions descend essential oils of the highest quality and productions in small quantities.
