The Habitation Velier project was born in 2015 from the close collaboration between Luca Gargano and the best Pure Single Rum distillers in the world, a category that brings together the excellence of rum. The purpose of the range is to bring the rum market’s attention to the fundamental importance of the distillation process, and in general to production, from raw material to fermentation. Precisely to keep the focus on the distillation method that the protagonists on the label are the stills used by each producer and other technical information such as the quantity present in the congeners distillate, or those non-alcoholic substances that give aromaticity to the product and the marks, which distinguish the different types of rum produced by the same distillery.
To date, the range has 45 white and aged releases from 11 different distilleries, in fact each expression of Habitation Velier contains an original project, with unique characteristics: a “world premiere” for each distillery.
