Don Papa Sherry Casks Rum
Don Papa Sherry Cask is the distillate of molasses produced by processing some of the best quality sugar cane in the world, harvested in the province of Negros Occidental.
It is aged 4 years in American oak barrels used for aging bourbon and then charred. Then, for 18 months the rum is divided into 4 types of ex sherry casks that were previously used for the production of fino sherry, sherry pedro ximenex , sherry cream and sherry palo cortado.
Don Papa’s in-house master blender carefully blends each part with the other, resulting in a one-of-a-kind product. No filtration is done to keep alive all the primary aromas from the distillation of molasses and the secondary aromas from passing through ex-sherry barrels.
