Firriato Sabbie dell’Etna Bianco 2025

Firriato Sabbie dell’Etna Bianco 2025

Firriato’s Le Sabbie dell’Etna Bianco is an Etna Bianco DOC made from Carricante, a native grape variety and one of the symbols of Etna winemaking. The vineyards grow in a mountainous environment on sandy, volcanic soils with excellent drainage. These distinctive conditions give the wine freshness, minerality and unmistakable elegance.

In the glass, it displays a bright straw-yellow colour. The nose offers delicate aromas of citrus fruit, white flowers and light-fleshed fruit, accompanied by characteristic mineral nuances. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced and pleasantly savoury, with good structure and a harmonious, persistent finish.

Le Sabbie dell’Etna Bianco is a versatile wine, ideal as an aperitif and perfect with seafood appetisers, raw seafood, shellfish, molluscs, sushi, fish carpaccio and delicate pasta dishes. It also pairs beautifully with white meats, vegetables and fresh cheeses.

A refined Sicilian white wine with a strong sense of place, expressing the character of Carricante and the unmistakable minerality of Mount Etna’s volcanic soils. Serve chilled at approximately 10–12°C.
