Marchese Antinori Blanc de Blancs Franciacorta DOCG

Marchese Antinori Blanc de Blancs is made from the finest Chardonnay grapes and, in some vintages, a small percentage of Pinot Bianco, creating a cuvée of extraordinary elegance and refined freshness. The long aging on the lees gives the wine a floral and fruity profile of great balance, finesse, and persistence.

Historical data:
The Tenuta Montenisa is located in the heart of Franciacorta, near the village of Calino, near Lake Iseo. Since 1999, the vineyards surrounding the historic villa of the Maggi family have been the heart of the production of Marchese Antinori Franciacorta, an authentic expression of this prestigious terroir.

Vinification:
The free-run must undergoes its first alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, where the wine remains on the lees for 24 months, refining its aromatic complexity and creaminess on the palate.

Tasting notes:
Of a pale straw yellow color, it has a creamy foam and a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose it is fragrant and immediate, with elegant floral and fruity notes reminiscent of apple and white-fleshed peach. On the palate it is lively, fresh, and harmonious, with perfect balance and a marked elegance.

Serving temperature: 7–9 °C

Pairings:
Ideal as an aperitif, it stylishly accompanies appetizers and fish-based first courses. Thanks to its freshness, it is also perfect as a pleasant after-dinner drink or for elegant toasts.
