Barolo Mosconi Prunotto 2019 comes from the prestigious vineyards of the Mosconi area of Monforte d’Alba, one of the most vocated areas for the production of Barolo. Thanks to its south to southwest exposure,altitude of 360-400 meters above sea level and white, tuffaceous soil, this wine offers extraordinary complexity and finesse.

☀️ Climate and Harvest

🌡️ 2019 vintage:
✅ Winter with mild temperatures, anticipating vegetative recovery.
✅ Cool spring with low rainfall, reducing yield but improving quality.
✅ Summer with excellent temperature ranges, preserving the integrity of the fruit.
✅ Harvest started on October 10, with limited but excellent production.

🍷 Vinification and Aging

🔹 Maceration: 7 days at a maximum temperature of 30°C.
🔹 Malolactic fermentation: Completed by the end of winter.
🔹 Aging: 18 months in 50 hl oak barrels to give elegance and complexity.
