Nose
Not reduced, a quiet nose, not extremely assertive, but quite maritime. Fresh paint for ship. Weak nose prickle. Spicy, salty, with distant smoke.
Body
Smooth and firm body.
Palate
At bottled strength, a gentle start, immediately developing in intensity. Slow and sweet, then picks up to peppery and hot, with notable bitterness and balancing salt and some smoke.
end
Long, warm, slightly bitter and very dry, with some smoke.
