Delamain Cognac Collection Plénitude Millesime 1980
An Excellence Kept for 40 Years
Product Description.
Delamain Cognac Collection Plénitude Millesime 1980 is a testament to 40 years of dedication, care and passion. Born in the vineyards of the hamlet of Mainxe, between Jarnac and Segonzac, this Cognac represents a work of artistry by Dominique Touteau, who began his adventure at Delamain in that very special year.
Unique Features
- Vineyard and Vintage: The grapes for this Cognac come from vineyards in the hamlet of Mainxe. The 1980 vintage is marked by a severe frost, which fortunately did not affect Delamain’s vineyards.
- Aging: Maturation takes place in a 350-liter “roux” barrel made of oak traditionally from the forests of Tronçais. The reddish hue of the carefully preserved old barrels preserves the original typicity and elegance of Cognac.
- Cellar D edicated to “Vintage“: Cognac rests in the cellar dedicated to “vintage,” which is subject to rigorous aging control by the BNIC (bureau national interprofessionnel du cognac). This winery, located on the edge of the Charente in Jarnac, offers ideal conditions for aging Cognacs.
- Bottles Produced: Limited to only 380 numbered copies, each bottle is a unique numbered treasure.
