Tancredi 2007 is deep ruby red in color; the nose is distinguished by fruity notes of plum and blueberries, followed by delicate spicy nuances of licorice and sweet tobacco. In the mouth it is full and enveloping, with an inviting drinkability; the tannins are very fine and densely textured; persistent and elegant is the finish.
Pairings
Tancredi goes well with red meat dishes and game; equally satisfying is the pairing with tuna or fatty fish. It can be uncorked on the spot if served in wide goblets with a wide mouth and good height.
