Today Domaine Faiveley owns 12 hectares of Grands Crus and 27 hectares of Premiers Crus, three of which it has a monopoly: Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru “Clos des Issarts,” Beaune Premier Cru “Clos de l’Ecu,” and the essential Corton Grand Cru “Clos des Cortons Faiveley.”
At Domaine Faiveley, the average area of each appellation is about one hectare, which is remarkable in Burgundy, where there are more than 1,200 climates. Each wine is therefore produced in relatively limited quantities. This precision allows us to appreciate the true value of the privilege of their tasting.

Pommard Cote de Baune Joseph Faiveley Cl 75
A Pommard at its peak revealing notes of cherry stones and ripe fruit finely spiced by gray pepper and licorice. The tannic and rigid side of its youth has given way to a generous and complex character. Lively wine with nice substance and plenty of length in the mouth that honors its vintage.
Tasting :
A beautiful dark and bright purple color. The nose develops aromas of red and black fruits (currant, blackberry, blueberry), velvety and fresh, evolving toward notes of chocolate, leather and pepper. On the palate the tannins are powerful and harmonious. Very nice ending.
