Fossile Brut Champagne Cl 75

🥂 M.G. Heucq Fossile Brut Champagne – Mineral Elegance and Aromatic Complexity

The Fossile Brut is born in the heart of the Marne Valley, in the village of Fleury-la-Rivière, an area famous for its soils rich in marine fossils, from which this champagne takes its name. These ancient sediments give the grapes an extraordinary minerality, making every sip a journey through time and the nature of the French terroir.

🍇 Composition and production method

This champagne is a balanced blend of three classic Champagne grape varieties:

• Meunier 50% – adds smoothness and fruity notes,

• Chardonnay 30% – adds freshness and mineral tension,

• Pinot Noir 20% – adds structure and depth.

Vinification takes place for 90% in vats and for 10% in oak barrels, with a long aging of 36 months on the lees.
60% of the grapes come from the 2016 harvest, enriched by reserve wines from 2015 and 2014, for a perfect balance between youth and Complexity.
