Louis Roederer Champagne Brut Vintage 2014 Cl 75

The 2014 Louis Roederer Champagne Brut Vintage tells a story of climatic contrasts, with a dry spring, a cool and rainy summer, and a hot and dry September. This climatic waltz influenced the ripening of the grapes and the character of the vintage.

Features:

Blend: It comes from the blending of Pinots from the Montagne de Reims and Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs.
Dosage: 8 g/l.
Terroir: Verzy, Chouilly.
Vinification: 20% of wines undergo malolactic fermentation. 25% of the wines are aged in wood.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Yellow with slightly amber iridescent highlights. The perlage is dynamic and regular.
Nose: Muted, almost sweet bouquet with intense aromas of yellow (peach) and red (currant) fruits, followed by notes of cocoa bean and smoky. A generous, complex and mouthwatering bouquet.
Palate: Broad, fruity and dense, with perfectly blended bubbles that create a velvety effect. Limestone freshness combines with the delicacy of smoky notes from Grand Cru Verzy. Brilliant, dense and energetic.
